Vernon's Jerk Chicken 3 lbs Chicken - 1/2 Jar Vernon's Jerk Sauce Cut chicken in half. Mix your Vernon's Jerk Sauce
as stated on the bottle and marinate 6 to 10 hours (or overnight). Place
chicken on a foil tray with some of the marinade. Preheat the oven to
350-375 degrees F. Vernon's Jerk Turkey 20 lbs Turkey - 3 Jars Vernon's
Jerk Sauce Mix your Jerk Sauce into a marinade
with the stuffing of your choice and stuff your bird. Place the Turkey
in the oven at 325-350 degrees F.
for 4 hours. Remember to baste periodically.
Vernon's Jerk Pork 4 to 6 slices of fresh ham leg or fresh butt rib - 1/2 jar Vernon's Jerk Sauce Marinate the Pork for 10 t0 12 hours. Place the pork in
a baking tray and cover with the marinade. Set the oven at 375
degrees F. Cook for 1-1/2 hours, basting every 15 minutes. ( Make
sure the Pork is moist at all times.) Remove from the oven and place on
a hot grill for about 30 minutes while basting periodically. Vernon's Jerk Lamb 6 lbs. Leg of Lamb - 1 jar Vernon's Jerk Sauce Marinate overnight in your Vernon's Jerk Sauce. Place Lamb
on tray and pour your marinade over it. Place in the oven for 1-3/4 hours,
basting every 15 minutes to keep it moist. Remove from the oven and place
on a hot grill for about 30 minutes, basting continuously.
Vernon's Jerk Beef 3-4 lbs of boneless round - 1/2 jar Vernon's Jerk Sauce - 1/2 cup cooking wine (optional) Marinate beef with Vernon's Jerk Sauce
for 10 to 12 hours. Make sure that enough marinade is in the roasting
pan to soak it completely. Place it in the oven for 3 hours at 350
degrees F. And remember! You must continue to baste every 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven, slice and serve. Delicious with white rice.
Vernon's Jerk Fish 1
cup vegetables 1
Snapper We'll be cooking with Red Snapper.
Use vegetables like Cabbage, Callaloo (a spinach-like vegetable) and Carrots.
Steam your vegetables with butter and fresh thyme. Drain water from the
vegetables and add 1/2 cup of Vernon's Jerk Sauce. Clean fish well. Pat
the fish dry. Stuff the Fish with vegetables. Place dry Fish in foli and
pour 1/2 cup of your Vernon's Jerk Sauce on the fish to keep it moist.
Wrap it very carefully in the foil. Place in small tray or sauce pan.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F. |
